This duck soup paste really tastes like something you'd find made fresh in a restaurant. In Thai it's known as "Khai Palo" soup. Made by the same company that produces the finest quality "Arroy D" brand. We practiced making it a few times and came up with this recipe: Bring 1 3/4 cup water to a boil, add 2 tablespoons soup paste. Stir well then add meat of your choice (we added hard-boiled egg and tofu). Pour this over cooked jasmine rice or rice stick noodles.
