Fresh Mangosteen
Until 2008 it had been totally impossible to get fresh mangosteen from Thailand to America, but we are now able to offer this delicious fruit fresh to your door anywhere in USA. The fruit chosen from export is clean, fresh and premium in every respect. Unfortunately the cost is very high, mainly due to shipping. You get 2 lbs of fruit in a small net sack, approximately 12 fruit.
Fresh mangosteen is best kept cool, and should be consumed within 1 week after you get it. On the outside box it states "irradiated fruit" and we understand that the USDA (plus agencies in other countries) approved this method of treatment in order to protect the environment. At checkout use "$0.00 Order Fresh Produce" shipping option (not UPS Ground), if you order includes only mangosteen. We will upgrade to Air Shipment with no added charge. Product of Thailand.
The 2011 Season Appears To Be Over. We are very sorry for the short season. We shipped in May, and that was all. Price was very high this year and size of the fruit was not desirable. We will start again in spring 2012. We do have canned mangosteen available.

May 25 2011 Update. New shipment arrived from Bangkok today. Quality is good. Please enjoy your fresh mangosteen promptly, or refrigerate for 1-2 days at the most. It is meant to be eaten quickly. We have received an overwhelmingly positive response from dozens of customers who thank us for fresh mangsteen each year, but one person did let it sit at room temp for 2 days then complained it wasn't fresh. The season lasts only a few weeks.

New: Mangosteen Juice
Mangosteen has a heavenly aroma and taste, and here we have a mangosteen drink made from pure mangosteen fruit. The color is a slight pinkish, and we like to drink it plain or mix it with soda water, 7-Up, or even vodka to make a delicious cocktail.
This juice is a new product, packed by Thai Agri Foods (Foco brand) which is one of the largest food companies in Thailand, a massive corporation with the most modern standard of packaging equipment.
