Shougayaki is a delicious dish that is best served with fresh steamed jasmine rice.
Ingredients
4 thin sliced pork
2 tbsp. Japanese cooking sake
1 1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 teaspoon Oroshi Shouga (graded ginger in tube)
2 tbsp. Kewpie Mayonnaise
Method
Marinate pork with sake, soy sauce, and oroshi shouga. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, add pork and cook both sides till golden brown and completely done. Add kewpie mayonnaise and cook for 1-2 more minutes.
