Well-known high quality producer Lee Kum Kee makes this from peppercorn oil, soybean oil, sesame oil and chile pepper. It's unique piquancy and distinctive aroma are great for dipping and cooking especially Sichuan-style food, but also a wonderful addition to Thai soups and stir-fry dishes. A few dashes of this oil adds great flavor and aroma. Packed in an elegant glass bottle, the oil has a beautiful natural red chile color. Ingredients: soybean oil, sesame oil, water, dried garlic, soy sauce, peppercorn oil, salt, sugar, disodium inosinate, guanylate, tocopherols (natural antioxidant). 5 oz bottle. Product of China. For a homemade alternative we suggest soaking fresh Thai chiles in vegetable oil.
