NEW: Stainless "Takraw", Long Handle
This is a modern version of the tool that has been used for generations to cook food in boiling water. Ours is made of stainless steel, the older style had a long bamboo handle, with a wire basket attached. Traditional Thai name is "Takraw".
All of our street vendor videos of noodle soup how how to use the takraw, and it's also used to cook meat and vegetables.
The basket is a stainless vessel full of holes, attached to a long handle as shown. Submerge into boiling water, and the food can be easily removed quickly.
See it in action in these videos:

Mostly made by hand, this convenient tool has a lot of character. You can find plenty of uses for it. The handle length is 15", which is probably a bit longer than ideal for American kitchens, but you will find yourself using it on a regular basis anyway. 3.75" across the top, 3.75" tall. Made in Thailand.
