Rhiannon, IN. Many years ago I discovered you to be about the only place to carry not instant Thai tea, but the kind that you actually had to brew. I've moved around a lot and am fairly poor, but by heavens at least once every year (and a couple years twice a year!) I order the three for 12 or so bucks of the brewed thai tea that you carry, I practically live on this stuff, and it is very forgiving regarding brewing, I can't always do it like you instruct, but I have found a number of ways I can fix it and it's ALWAYS good.

I'm living near my mother again and I recently took some down for her to try, she loves iced tea in the summer. It's going on winter her now but I suspect when I order my next batch of Thai tea I'll be ordering extra, because she liked it very much, I was scolded for not having introduced it to her during "iced tea season"! (why it's only summer for her I don't know, it's all year round for me!)

Thank you for continuing to carry this product all this time, for having it a reasonable price...please don't ever drop it from your inventory. Thanks to it I've also occasionally ordered other items here and there to experiment with and get to enjoy a wider variety of flavors and cooking experiences. You folks are wonderful.

Andy, Missouri. Just submitting a testimonial. I ordered the tao cooker a couple weeks ago, and love it! So far we've used it for steaks and stir fry, and have also found that it works well for making s'mores as the coals are dying down (you can also warm your hands over it while making s'mores). It uses much less charcoal than a traditional grill, and it's easy to get the charcoal started without lighter fluid. I just use a bit of paper and some twigs from the yard, then throw the coal on. Overall, a great way to cook and a lot of fun to use. Thanks!

I am actually a fan of Zebra pens, which I believe to be from the same producers. I came across Zebra several years back in Milwaukee of all places. My wife and I were just on a day out and found am oriental spice store which sold the turners.

I am the kind of person that likes to buy something once. I remember a story about people in England a hundred years ago buying shoes - it cost 1 shilling for a pair of cardboard shoes that lasted a year, or three shillings for shoes that lasted 5 years. OK, strange story but it's always stuck with me when buying kitchen products and I have a feeling you might get my point.

Personally I find Zebra utensils laughably cheap for what you get, please don't under-sell them! Be confident in these products. I would pay three times what they sell for and be happy. I think professionals in the trade would too. Thailand makes some quality products these days (We still have Swing-line staplers, Mag-light and Zippo's). Thank you for sending your good article about Piper sarmentosum, the leaf used to wrap miang kham. I'm pleased that you are using genus & species names for some of the plants. Please add genus & species Piper betle, the leaf used to CHEW betle nut. The Thais I meet in the Kingdom say only Piper betle leaf is used for chewing nuts of the betle palm (Areca catechu). I have never seen the Piper betle leaf used to wrap miang kham but perhaps I should try it sometime. Your WWW site and photos are excellent. I've looked EVERYWHERE I could find on this small island for these items and found nothing, not even any tamarind of ANY kind. When I made my first order from ya'll, of the mortar and pestle with the ground kaffir lime leaves, it came within 3 business days. That's why I thought the fresh produce would come sooner. And I know you can't control the shipping time, I think it could maybe be because it said "dry products" on the label, when there was actually fresh ones in there too. That could possible push them to rush it? I don't know. I don't know how they choose which goes quicker. I'm glad you told me that the galangal will be okay though I mean if it isn't a problem, I'd even pay more, but if you don't want me to order fresh produce it's fine. Your the only company I've found that actually ships here And uses USPS. I mean, if I just order fresh produce, and it Only looks the way it did, and it is still okay to cook with, I'm fine with that. What do you think? We are nutruition and health conscious, and have experimented with many other "milks", such as soy, hemp, dairy, almond, rice, etc. So far coconut milk seems to be the safest, more nutritious, and - just as important - the tastiest. Did you know that AROY-D is the only coconut milk producer that packages their product in a package instead of a can. Why is this important? Because scientific research has now found that the lining of tin cans contains Bisphenol A (BPA), just like some plastics do. BPA has now been proven to be a carcinogen. I'm quite a good cook, and rarely would endorse something as complete, right out of the bottle, but these sauces are amazing. Maybe it's because they're simply made from the same stuff you'e cook with, not a bunch of corn syrup -- I don't know how they get such fresh flavors to survive the bottling process, but they do. If I'm in a hurry or home late from work, I shake a little of the hot basil Maxchup on some stir-fried chicken and onions, it's really good. Today I seared some tofu cubes and shrimp, tossed in some broccoli, and a couple shakes of the black-pepper Maxchup that you had on special last week (I am so happy I ordered five bottles!). I can't believe it came from a bottle and I can't believe I'm saying this - it's as good as anything I make from scratch. It's phenomenal with shrimp. I love it!

I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease - your recipes and products are either gluten free or easily adaptable. Now all I have to do is get use to the heat index of Thai food. I don't use black table pepper! It's too hot. Food that causes pain and induces hot flashes, even in the young, is a bit daunting... but I discovered that I love curry. I've been eating it despite the fear factor and it is getting easier. I'm working my way up the curries.

They are so wickedly sharp, in fact, that the point of the large santoku arrived bent at the tip because it slipped out of its packaging and cut right through the box during shipment! There were several tiny razor-like slits in the cardboard where the knife point poked through the box and apparently hit something hard! Cut my finger a bit trying to straighten it, too, lol. These things are the real deal--they will effortlessly cut through anything. I highly recommend them.

I love your Thai street vendor videos as they are about as real as you can get. I grow my own Kaffir lime tree in Pennsylvania (comes inside in the winter) and have galangal and Thai chilies perpetually in my freezer. One of my favorite recent cookbook finds is "Southeast Asian Flavors" by Robert Danhi.

Keep up the good work and I'm happy for you and your wife for carving out such a wonderful niche business for yourselves. I would love to have my business be my passion for Asian food, but the corporate IT world called out to me much earlier in my life. Good to see a fellow dog-lover as well. There probably aren't too many Thai dogs in the U.S.

Wayne, Oak Lawn IL. I've been in heaven since I'd found your site, oh, two years ago? Prior, I've had to root out all these little ethnic store-fronts all over Chicago. I prepare "world" cuisine, and found you invaulable in providing just what I need. However, may I suggest adding miso to your Japanese line-up? I was so pleased you've added "instant pho" base to your line! I've been preparing Viet Namese cuisine since I'd returned from Binh Dinh Province in 1969 -but not pho. I've left that to restaurants, as it's so time consuming. Once I receive my order, I can now add the Viet Namese (proper spelling, by the way, it's two words) "national dish" to my repertoire -thank you!
