Thanks to the creativity and resourcefulness of street vendors, they're able to prepare an incredible assortment of freshly-cooked meals right in front of your home. The lady in this video is a very good example of this, as she has an entire cooking cart connected to a motorcycle which buzzes around a local housing community. She even has a charcoal barbeque on the tail end, as you can see, and her cart is just packed with good things to eat. 3:22 PM I find a look at Thai life and culture through food fascinating and interesting. Those bananas in sticky rice look delicious, and I might try that down the road... (I unfortunately don't have the cookware to do sticky rice yet [may purcase in the future] and always use jasmine and my rice cooker at the moment, and I'm assuming that might not work well for this recipe.) I definitely am interested in trying the larb at some point also as it looks very tasty. Just having the recipes is great, but being able to see how the wonderful Thai people live and cook and add their unique flair is even better, and there's a lot of great content in these videos where you can learn quite a bit (I just wish I was half as adpet at chopping and preparing the ingredients). I enjoyed the motorcycle kitchen - mobility plus food seems to be a pretty common theme in Thailand.

3:33 AM Great video! I'm more of a fan of the Issan style SomTam, Damahoong Bpoo Badek. A bit more extreme, but I like the little salted crabs and fermented fish. Always funny to be in Bangkok with the wife seeing her nose perk up when she smells the good stuff!

4:27 PM I have tried it and tried it. with only slight variations in the ingredients or how its cooked. and I can't seem to get it right. Its my favorite thai dish, but it takes some practice to get it right.

7:44 AM it makes me miss home so much. i'm currently living in Germany and I find the food here boring. Its really great to have the chance to try some of these recipes at home =)

12:14 PM i love your video's makes me miss thailand immensely ! what i think would be really good if you can get some footage from a restaurant in bangkok near the victory monument and close to kow san called Thipsamai this restaurant only makes padthai and they offer about 10 variations of it, but i would say that once you've tried the pad thai there you'll never be able to stomache it from anywhere else as i believe they are the best

12:13 AM I lived in Thailand for about 18 months and grew to love the Thai people with all my heart. When I am having a bad day I visit your site and watch these videos, they cheer me up right away! I ate nearly every meal from a street vendor while I lived there, your videos bring back wonderful memories. Thank you so much!
