We have offered instant tom yum paste from Por Kwan for many years, and it's a favorite item ordered by many customers. Now we are pleased to offer a brand new product from Por Kwan: instant Tom Kha paste.
Use this to make a quick and delicious Tom Kha soup. All you need is to add water, and your own chicken & fresh mushrooms.
We feel that this Por Kwan is a better-tasting product than the Lobo brand above, but many people including restaurants love Lobo. If you like the Lobo instant tom kha, try this too.
Packed in a glass jar. Ingredients: coconut milk, sugar, salt, galangal, shallot, lemongrass, garlic, non-dairy creamer (glucose, palm kernel oil, sodium caseinate), msg, soy sauce, citric acid, modified corn starch, chilli, kaffir lime leaves, sodium metabisulphite. Product of Thailand.

Tom Kha is by far one of our most popular recipes, and Aroy-D is among the best food manufacturers in Thailand, so this is a great combination!
While it is always best to make tom kha from scratch, using fresh lemongrass, galangal, etc, Aroy-D has created this new paste which allows you to make tom kha almost instantly, and it's very good.
It comes sealed in a modern vacuum package inside the convenient tub shown at left. Instructions on the package. Just add one tablespoon paste to your own coconut milk, water, and sliced chicken. One 14 oz tub of the paste makes about 25 servings.

This is the first time we've offered Tom Kha in a can. Flavor is good, if you're in a hurry and/or don't want to spend the time to make tom kha from scratch.
The flavor is "Mild". If you want a spicier tom yum, feel free to add some fresh Thai chiles, or Thai chile powder. See our recipe for tom kha soup.
The lead flavors are rich galangal, and buttery coconut milk. Also a generous amount of oyster mushroom in each can.
