Savoy - Coconut Cream

We have plenty of Savoy coconut cream in stock, and are pleased to highlight it during our $5 flat rate promotion.

What is the difference between coconut milk and coconut cream? Not a great deal in terms of flavor and appearance. At first sight coconut cream looks less 'creamy' than coconut milk. But coconut cream contains less water, and more fat. Also, coconut milk separates over time creating a mix of thick cream separated from the water, so you usually need to stir coconut milk together before using it. With coconut cream, there is more consistency, it's smoother, and doesn't separate into chunks of cream.

One of our most popular items lately   Longevity Brand is the brand of choice, recognized as the finest quality and excellent when added to coffee.

Mushroom Soy Sauce - Healthy Boy

Chefs use this as a substitute for fish sauce, also used as a vegetarian substitute for oyster sauce.

We are now shipping the 10 oz glass bottle.

Tastes just right with Thai congee (rice porridge). Naturally brewed from selected soybeans and mushrooms. Add a few drops to your soup or stir fry and enhance the flavor of any dish.

Made using the natural fermentation method in a modern facility with ISO9002 certificate.

Thai Tempura Powder - Gogi

This is a good quality multi-purpose instant self-raising batter that can be used to make all types of meat, seafood and vegetables.

See photo below; we simply dipped pieces of cod into Gogi Powder then fried in oil and served with tartar sauce. Absolutely perfect fish and chips.

Mix one envelope with one cup water and stir. Dip your choice of food in the batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown.

Back in Stock - Mama Brand Bean Thread Clear Soup

This is another new flavor from Mama, a mild soup using clear bean thread noodles (healthy, made from mung bean flour).

We enjoyed making this with thinly sliced beef (see picture below), garnished with fresh cilantro.

Distinctive because it's made with bean thread noodles not the yellow wheat-based noodles typically found in Mama.
