Thai Recipe Update / ImportFood

Hello again and Welcome Back! Aroy-D improved their Yellow curry formula, and Green is now vegan. We have a new shipment of Mae Ploy Sweet Chilli Sauce, and two Thai recipes to share. Thanks for visiting!

Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce, Mae Ploy Brand

This distinctive, slightly sweet chili sauce is ideal with chicken as well as seafood, vegetable dishes and as a dipping sauce for spring rolls & dim sum.

Mae Ploy is a fairly thick sauce, and if you've ever purchased barbeque chicken from a street vendor in Thailand, it was undoubtedly served with this sauce.

Packed in a nice glass bottle (large and small).

Recipe: Thai Yellow Curry Chicken, 'Gaeng Karee Gai'

The flavor of yellow curry paste is not much different than red or green, however we've recently discovered how much we like yellow curry. Yellow curry makes vegetables taste great in our opinion, and we've been eating more vegetables and less meat these days. Here is a basic Thai yellow curry with chicken and potato. It's also good with bell pepper, butternut squash, or any seasonal vegetable of your choice. Serve a generous portion and watch it disappear.

Recipe: Thai Green Curry Salmon and Wild Rice

A basic Thai green curry, true to authentic flavor but also lacking fiery chile heat because sliced chiles are not added. We ladled the curry over a nice blend of rice and honey-drizzled salmon. We used wild king and sockeye salmon, as shown. You can use any seafood. Salmon is a great choice because honey-flavored salmon tastes so good with the green curry.

We like serving this with a combination of red and jasmine rice, as the wild rice character goes well with seafood.
