Mekong is a 35 percent (70 proof) rice whisky famous in Thailand as the drink of choice for the blue collar workforce. Despite it's pleasing taste and mild, original flavor that goes excellent with ice and soda water, if most Thais can afford it they will buy more expensive imported whiskey such as Johnny Walker
