Thai Fried Mackerel in Chilli Sauce

The daily catch of delicious seafood in the Gulf of Thailand includes mackerel--and these have nice flavor.

This is from Smiling Fish brand, a well-known high quality producer that now has packed this in a mild 'Chilli Sauce'.

The low price makes them an affordable healthy meal, simply empty the can into a pan and over medium heat. Season with a bit of fish sauce if you prefer, and serve with jasmine rice.

These are easy-open cans, each can has chunks of mackerel that have been fried before packing.

Ingredients: mackerel 60%, water 12%, sugar 10%, palm oil 9%, chilli 5%, soy sauce 2%, salt 1%, vinegar 1%.
