Thai Recipe Update / ImportFood

Today our feature recipe is Thai Yellow Curry, see our authentic version and all of the steps to make it.  we have Aroy-D curry paste, Fried Rice Seasoning Mix, and our imported Kiwi Thailand knives.   Thanks for visiting our updates.  We hope you enjoy and share this with friends.

Thai Yellow Curry Chicken, 'Gaeng Karee Gai'

The flavor of yellow curry paste is not much different than red or green, however we've recently discovered how much we like yellow curry. Yellow curry makes vegetables taste great in our opinion, and we've been eating more vegetables and less meat these days. Here is a basic Thai yellow curry with chicken and potato. It's also good with bell pepper, butternut squash, or any seasonal vegetable of your choice. Serve a generous portion and watch it disappear.

Thai Coconut Milk and Cream

We offer both Aroy-D and Chaokoh brands, and different fat content for each brand, fresh stock, one year shelf life.

Chaokoh and Aroy-D produce excellent quality but some customers like one brand over the other. We tend to think the freshest will be best, and we are proud to mention here dates for each brand.

There are two sizes available. A nice large box 33.8 oz (a bit more than 1 quart). We also offer it in a small and convenient 8.5 oz box (slightly more than 1 cup).

Lots in stock, order now.

Thai Massaman Curry Paste - Aroy-D

Massaman curry from Thailand has a mix of Malay, India, and muslim nation flavors, and it's often served with potato (see recipes below, massaman is also a wonderful part of Thai peanut sauce).

Ingredients: dried red chile, garlic, shallot, salt, lemongrass, cumin seed, coriander seed, cinnamon, galangal, cardamom. Product of Thailand.

Lobo brand, Fried Rice Seasoning, 25 gm

To use this product, start by adding 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to a wok, heat and add 1/2 lb of shrimp, pork or chicken (we used shrimp). Add one egg, and scramble. Add about 1 plate of steamed jasmine rice, lower the heat and add the fried rice mix. Stir and add other ingredients of your choice, such as onion, and you've created a wonderful Thai-style khao pad (fried rice). We added some drops of Maggi Seasoning over the top at the end, highly recommended.

Ingredients: Dextrose, salt, vinegar powder, soy sauce powder, spices and silicon dioxide (as an anti-caking agent). No msg, artificial color or preservatives added.

Product of Thailand.
