Pho Spice Seasoning Pack Oldman Que Huong BrandAdd to cart1.5oz - $4.59
Over the years we've sold a lot of this to restaurants, it's the go-to spice mix to make delicious aromatic pho. 6 spices in special proportions along with a cotton bag with top tie for ease of use.
Use a full package to make a large 16 cup pot, or cut in half and use the bag twice for a smaller pot.
Start by placing beef ribs in a pot of cold water then bring to a boil, and let boil for 20 seconds then remove from heat, drain the water and thoroughtly rinse the ribs. This cleans it off and ensures the best stock. Next, fill the same pot with fresh water, add bones, sea salt, crushed black pepper, a whole yellow onion cut in half, and some sliced fresh ginger. Bring to a boil and let leave at a low boil for 10 minutes. Then add the spice pack and let it boil on low/medium heat for another 10 minutes or so. Cover your pot, reduce heat to a high simmer, and let cook for about two hours.
Place stock into a bowl with:
sliced green onion
a healthy spoonful of fresh lime juice
fish sauce to season
fresh sliced chille peppers
Serve with cooked chantaboon rice stick
