Hand Crafted Fish Cleaning Knife, Wood Handle, Sakai Japan, 11"
This is a special request from a customer who wanted the same knife used in our Fish Cleaning Video filmed in Tokyo. We showed the video to the knife shop and this is what they matched it with.
Made of very high quality carbon steel, with Japanese magnolia wood handle.
Note that it is designed for people who are Right Handed (sharpened on one side). If you want a left handed version, please send us an email asap so we can get that arranged.

Hand Crafted Sashimi Knife, Made in Japan, 15 inch length, No.016
Total Length is 15" and the blade is 9.5". The Japanese craftsman has designated this as "Number 016". It's a sashimi knife made of the finest carbon steel called 'white number 2' steel. We are selling this based on the price direct from our visit with the maker, and it would probably cost much more in Tokyo.

We obtained a few of these at the same shop in Japan where our hand forged knives come from. They are made with the same precision and attention to quality as the knives, using extremely high quality steel. Total length is 6".
