Tamarind Concentrate, 16 oz jar

Tamarind sauce is a critical ingredient in many Thai foods, including the famous Pad Thai. Tamarind sauce is commonly used in various northern Thai dishes as a souring agent. Tamarind is also used in the manufacturing of ketchup, sauces--Chinese, Worcestershire, Barbecue, etc. Tamarind is effective as a natural preservative and marinade.

We are shipping the very best from Aroy-D, in Cock brand.

Waterfall Beef, 'Neua Yang Nam Tok'

In Thai language, nam tok is a waterfall. This dish is usually cooked using a barbecue (the juices drip onto charcoal hence the name waterfall) but you can fry or broil the beef just as well. It should be cooked rare to start with. See our street vendor video lower left, a sidewalk chef prepares it.

Simple to make using the tamarind we offer above.

Mama, Chan Chicken Pho, Instant Noodles

Here we have a fairly new style of Mama, made using premium chantaboon rice stick noodles. Serving size is 1.94 oz dry, which is a bit larger than most Mama noodle packs. One bowl can fill you up, and the pho chicken is just as you might hope for--a chicken broth with a spice packet to add if you prefer some chilli heat.

Add the three separate spice packets, then add hot water, and let sit for 3 minutes.

Mama, Instant Chan Clear Soup

Our favorite Thai instant noodles, made of pure rice stick noodles.

Made of high quality rice (pho) noodles rather than the typical yellow wheat noodles. Typically these are around 30% more expensive than the yellow wheat-based instant noodles.

This is a delicious soup made by simply adding boiling water, or you can turn it into something extraordinary by adding fresh sliced chile peppers (jalapenos work best), bean sprouts, mint leaves, Thai basil, cilantro, or whatever you prefer.
