- 2 Chicken Breast
- 2 Tablepoons White wine or sake
- 4 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 4 Tablespoon Mirin
- 2 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Clove Garlic, finely chopped
- Black Pepper Dash
Method for Teriyaki Chicken - Japanese Style
Mix Sake, soy sauce, Mirin, sugar, and garlic in a bowl. Sprinkle pepper on chicken, and marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes in the fridge. Heat a pan and pour in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Place the chicken in the pan and fry them on med-low heat. Turn the chicken over to fry both sides. Add in the sauce that the chicken was marinated in. Simmer on low heat until the sauce becomes thick. Cut the chicken in strips, put on a plate with rice, and pour sauce in the pan over the chicken and serve.
