November Thai Recipe, Flat Rate Shipping Update

Half Price: Mama brand, Instant Namtok Noodles
Namtok is one of our favorites and we have it at half price! You get 12 packs for $6.85 instead of 6 packs. These just arrived, and Namtok is curiously not very popular but we have a lot to sell so we're going to offer it at half price as a promotion.
The instant noodles have a dark rich smoky broth, and it's not extremely spicy like other Mama noodles. This is namtok flavor. Add thinly sliced pork or beef as we did here in the photo, along with fresh cilantro, to make a more substantial meal.
Every package comes with three different spice packets. Just add boiling hot water to the noodles and spices, cover and set for a few minutes.
Mama brand, Tom Yum Creamy Shrimp Noodles
Here the tom yum is "creamy" which means that coconut cream powder was added to the mix, along with tapioca as a thickener. The flavor is a bit less spicy also. We love tom yum with a spoonful of coconut milk added (in Thai this is called "sai nam khom"). The soup ends up a creamy white, with bits of red chile oil floating around. The coconut milk adds a lovely new dimension. If you like Mama noodles, you'll love creamy tom yum.
Mama brand, Chan Chicken Pho, Instant Noodles
Here we have a fairly new style of Mama, made using premium chantaboon rice stick noodles. Serving size is 1.94 oz dry, which is a bit larger than most Mama noodle packs. One bowl can fill you up, and the pho chicken is just as you might hope for--a chicken broth with a spice packet to add if you prefer some chilli heat.
Add the three separate spice packets, then add hot water, and let sit for 3 minutes.

Our best selling Mama brand instant noodles. These noodles are delicious, authentic Thai piquant tom yum shrimp flavor, and easy to prepare. Hot and spicy.
Thai Ovaltine "European Formula"
This is a large glass jar and well worth it. Thai Ovaltine is true to the original British formula, unaltered like the American Ovaltine which has been changed over the years to add more sugar. Thai Ovaltine has much richer barley malt flavor. It's also loaded with vitamins, and tastes just like you remember.
Mix with milk and enjoy hot or cold. We prepared the recipe below from Sherry Yard's book "Desserts by the Yard: From Brooklyn to Beverly Hills", and it was very good.
Longans in Syrup, 20 oz can, Aroy-D
This native SE Asian fruit is round, about 1" diameter, with white soft pulp. Longan has a perfumy flavor that is delicate and sweet. Eaten as a snack, often served in a bowl with ice cubes.

Thai Fried Shallots (Red Onion)
These taste best when fresh, and this batch literally just arrived so you can't go wrong.
The 8 oz jar is quite large, enough for several handfuls. Quality is excellent. These are highly sought after among restaurants who prefer fried Thai shallots for the excellent bold flavor.

This is usually added to soup or stir friy, and it can be eaten as a snack.

Instant Noodles, Wai Wai, Vegetarian
WAI WAI brand are the original Thai instant noodle. We are delighted to offer this. For over 40 years Wai Wai has been a familiar, original taste in Thailand, but not as well known overseas except for their famous rice vermicelli.
This is "Vegetarian" style, with vegetable flavoring.
Instant Thai Noodles, Wai Wai, Classic Oriental
Here is the original, classic flavor, the package has not changed for decades. It is called "Oriental Style". Not very spicy, with nice firm noodles. Inside each package are three small flavor packs.
Simply put the noodles and spices into a bowl, cover for 3 minutes, and it's ready to serve.
