Thai Peanut Sauce - Por Kwan Brand
Convenient jar of peanut sauce and we just got new stock today. Can be heated then served as a dip for barbeque chicken or pork.
The sauce is also a nice topping on various dishes, or just spoon some over freshly-cooked jasmine rice.
12" Thai chef knife, Kiwi, wood handle
Featured in Saveur Magazine as a "Staff Favorite...the tall blade is similar to pricy Japanese santokus, so it is ideal for straight chopping, but it also has a bit of curve for easily rocking through herbs and minced garlic. The angled tip is handy for for delicate tasks that might feel clumsy with a traditional santokus".
Pho Beef Flavor Paste - Por Kwan
New stock just arrived today. This paste is very popular with our customers. The flavor is rich, and the soft paste is easy to work with.
A simple way to enjoy an exotic, full-flavored noodle soup.
Sweet and Sour Plum Sauce, Mae Ploy Thailand
This sauce is especially tasty with crispy (fried) food such as fried spring rolls, sugarcane shrimp, fish cakes, even french fries.
Packed in a large glass bottle. Medium consistency (not think like water, but less thick than ketchup), bits of plum flakes. Lovely flavor.
Thai Fried Chicken Batter Mix, Mr Hung
Leave it to the Thais to create the best fried chicken in the world. This batter perfectly coats your chicken (or vegetables, as we made fried mushrooms and onions that turned out excellent). Simply mix this with water and sugar (see mix below). You really can't go wrong, and it's just excellent batter.
Shrimp Cakes, 'Tod Mun Goong'
In this video we demonstrate how to make Thai fish cakes, a signature dish of Thailand. Very simple, and so delicious.
