Thai Recipe and Flat Rate Shipping Update / ImportFood

Hello again Friends! Please consider ordering from us this week, as we are offering $5 flat rate and our pricing is still unchanged despite higher prices across the board coming in the pipeline.

Our Fried Thai Sticky Rice recipe (Kao Neeo Tod) is fun to make and we show you the simple steps to make it just right.

Fried Sticky Rice, 'Kao Neeo Tod'

A wonderful, delicious recipe that's easy to prepare. An authentic Thai snack that may seem like a trendy take on sticky rice but Khao Neeo Tod is found in the oldest Thai cookbook we own. It's been enjoyed for years in Thailand but we've never seen it served outside of Thailand.

Green Curry Paste, Maesri

We have been selling a lot of Maesri lately.  Green and Panang are both really popular, as this is used so often in restaurants. Familiar taste.

For a quick delicious Thai dish using this product, stir fry one can with 2 cups of coconut milk, and cook until it boils. Add 1 3/4 lb chicken, then add two cups coconut milk, and stir until chicken is tender. Add 1/2 lb eggplant, and keep stirring until cooked. Sprinkle with fresh Thai basil leaves, and fresh Thai chiles. Serves 5-7. Serve with jasmine rice.

Ingredients: fresh green chiles, garlic, wild ginger, shallot, lemongrass, salt, kaffir lime, sugar, galangal, spices (corriander seeds, cumin, cardamom, turmeric), pepper.

Product of Thailand.

Tamarind Concentrate, 16 oz jar

Tamarind sauce is a critical ingredient in many Thai foods, including the famous Pad Thai. Tamarind sauce is commonly used in various northern Thai dishes as a souring agent. Tamarind is also used in the manufacturing of ketchups, sauces--Chinese, Worcestershire, Barbecue, etc. Tamarind is effective as a natural preservative and marinade.

We are shipping the very best from Aroy-D, in Cock brand.

Thai Chili Paste With Sweet Basil Leaves

A fragrant, all natural, delicious mix of spicy Thai chili peppers and sweet basil leaves. The chiles have high heat, so just a tablespoon will really make you sweat, but the heat is balanced by the rich aroma of sweet basil. Use sparingly for lower heat.

You can also spoon this out of the jar into any vegetable or meat stir-fry to create a simple, authentic Thai meal.
