October Thai Recipe Update / ImportFood

Hello again and Welcome Back! Hunglay is the big story this month, as we just got Mae Pranom's outstanding all-natural Hunglay base. Better than anything restaurants can make from scratch. We also have new Aroy-D Panang and Matsaman, new smaller granite mortar and pestles, and a fresh shipment of black peppercorn.

NEW: Mae Pranom Hunglay

Hunglay is a distinctive, rich beef stew and we prepared it to perfection using this Mae Pranom product. All natural ingredients.

NEW: Aroy-D Panang

Now we have premium quality Panang from Aroy-D.

Panang is a dry curry, meaning that the final dish is not soupy with a lot of coconut milk. Our Aroy-D brand is more expensive and loaded with rich herbs rathe than cheaper filler ingredients found in other brands.

NEW: Aroy-D Massaman

Massaman curry from Thailand has a mix of Malay, India, and muslim nation flavors, and it's often served with potato

NEW: 5" Granite Mortar and Pestle

Our new 5 inch size offers the same great performance of a heavy pestle and extremely hard stone to pound in, and it's more convenient for smaller kitchens with less counter space.

This is another new, fresh shipment -- the black peppercorn are as good as ever. Just picked and dried within weeks. This small new batch of black peppercorns came from the Central Highlands of Vietnam with rich soil and ideal conditions.

Fresh, bold citrus pepper flavor that you likely haven't tasted before -- these black peppercorn from an area of Southeast Asia for premium quality for hundreds of years.
