Thai Recipe Update / ImportFood

We share several recipes we made at home with high quality Lobo seasonings.  Our best-selling 6" granite mortar and pestle is back in stock, and more.

SALE: Lobo Satay

Make authentic, delicious Thai satay (peanut) sauce with this high quality product. Simply mix with coconut milk. A convenient envelope for the marinade powder, the other envelope is for the satay sauce. Mix that with coconut milk and heat over medium heat until thoroughly mixed.

Lobo Sweet and Sour

Modern flavor from Lobo. Mix soy sauce with meat of your choice, fry with vegetable oil and stir-fry until done. Add onion, bell pepper, and other vegetable of your choice. Dissolve Lobo Sweet and Sour with 1/2 cup water and pour it into the pan. Add pineapple chunks.

The package contains a recipe for sweet and sour chicken, suggesting you prepare the chicken first with Gogi tempura powder. We prepared this at home and show how it was done here.

 Lobo Seafood Chilli

The seafood chile sauce mix is mild, it does not have a high chile heat. The sauce is more to the sweet side, and it can be served with any kind of fish.

It's easy to prepare. Combine the contents of this packet with 1 cup water, bring to a boil and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Serve over any seafood.

Lobo Pepper Garlic

This Pepper & Garlic Seasoning Mix is one of our favorites from Lobo. We used this to prepare delicious pork chops quickly and easily.

Thai Fried Chicken Batter

Leave it to the Thais to create the best fried chicken in the world. This batter perfectly coats your chicken (or vegetables, as we made fried mushrooms and onions that turned out excellent). Simply mix this with water and sugar (see mix below). You really can't go wrong, and it's just excellent batter.

 NEW: Thai Pineapple Chilli Sauce

Just arrived fresh batch from Mae Pranom. The flavor is an excellent blend of sweet & tangy with a noticeable burst of chili heat. A wonderful dipping sauce for any grilled, roasted, or fried meats. Not just perfect for dipping spring rolls, this is a great marinade for any style of barbecue.

Back in Stock: Mortar and Pestle, Solid Granite 6"

The 6" offers the same great performance of a heavy pestle and extremely hard stone to pound in, and it's more convenient for smaller kitchens with less counter space.
